Birthday, Celebrations and Friends

Hi guys,

So, it was my birthday in the month of June. So, I did celebrate because it was a milestone birthday and I normally don’t celebrate so what I did for my birthday may not seem like much of a celebration but to me it was.

On the day of my birthday at midnight I received the sweetest messages from my friends and because it was Ramadan I did fast so I was awake until around 3 am. I woke up the next morning at around 10 am and I decided to just lazy around, I did however put on a face mask as I was blessed with acne. Once I had taken the mask of my dad gave me money for my birthday. At around half past one I started to get ready for the occasion even though I hadn’t planned to do too much as I do enjoy spending the day with my family. At around 3 pm I went to go pick up my cake which I know some people would find weird but I always choose my own cake and I also picked up two balloons as it was a necessity that I have them.

My best friend then came over at around 4:30 pm and we did spend the rest of the day catching up because I hadn’t seen her for around 5 months as we have both been extremely busy with exams and we don’t go to the same school but it is a tradition that me and her spend the day together. She was generous enough to get me a gift which happened to be small and dainty bracelet from Pandora. My mother also gifted me with a bracelet from Pandora which we went and picked out a couple days before my birthday. At around 9 pm my grandma, auntie and cousins came over and my friend stayed over and we broke our fast together and had a variety of foods which my mother had concocted. We also had some cake and I won’t lie it was a really nice cake.

So, a couple days after my birthday I met up with two of my friends and had some food and caught up with them. I started to get ready at around twelve o’clock and my friend came over at around 1:30 pm and we chilled for a little while. Then at 4:30 pm we met up with my other friend at Romeos Diner which is an American style diner and I got a fish burger with a side of fries and I know you might think fish burger but it’s actually one of my favourites. The friend which we met up with can actually drive so we went to a desserts place and I got a Ferrero Rocher milkshake which was also really nice but I was too full to be able to actually finish it. My first friend gave me a bracelet from H.Samuel and a really nice floral sleeveless top my second friend gave a chocolate box and a gift card for Paperchase.

On the last day of the academic school year I went to school to return a couple of books and I met my friend and she gave me a highlighter palette from Nip and Fab which I can’t wait to start using. My other friend gave me my gifts a little later when we met up for her birthday this month we exchanged gifts and I received a NYX Lingerie liquid lipstick in Cashmere Silk and this happens to be one of my favourite lip colours I find it matches my skin perfectly and doesn’t look too much. She also gave me a boxed gift which contains a Just Pink perfume and body lotion which I don’t know if it’s a hint to me not smelling good but I am appreciative of the gifts.

I am so appreciative and thankful for all the gifts that I was ever so generously given and feel so blessed. Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes and the presents.
